    Pros +

    • So, the container hotel approach in Japan is cool. However, this ones units were extremely close to the road, so there was a lot of road traffic. Hotel should provide free earplugs. (I always bring my own). The best thing about this place is the free freshly-ground coffee and green tea machines located in the (additional) 40-foot container guest 'hang-out' unit, which was extremely clean and new.
    • First time traveler. First time on a plane. First time taking my family out of country. This hotel was so easy to access. Easy to use. And amazing friendly helpful staff.
    • I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and appreciated the convenient access to food and beverages available at the reception area. Additionally, the close proximity to Narita Airport was a significant advantage.

    Cons -

    • The location, unfortunately, was not easy to find - at all. And we walked all the way on a weird, circuitous trail through rice paddies (and even someone's home entrance...). I definitely suggest English SIGNS and explicit travel directions from rail and subway systems. Japan is confusing enough, but when you hit Nagoya, there's precious little English help or directions.
    • There wasn't one of these hotels every place we are visiting.
    • While I appreciated the close proximity to Narita Airport, the sound of planes landing and taking off, along with the occasional noise from passing trucks, made it somewhat challenging to get a restful night’s sleep.

Even if you book for 2 ppl you get everything for 1. Pillows and towels. Not even a toothbrush. Tub had hair in it. Other then that, you get what you pay for i guess. And you still need a car to get to the aiport.

The cleanliness, plus the complementary frozen food is delicious.

    Room is too small.

Modern and ease of access. Contains all my necessary tools and amenities.

The shipping container shakes every now and then but issue is solved with my ANC sleeping ear buds.

Wrong side of airport if that’s why you are choosing

I didn’t research how close to the back runway this was. Planes didn’t go over night so sleeping was fine

Conveniently close to airport and parking facility. Some restaurants nearby.

    10NicolaPosted on: 8-18-2024

They provide one meal for free per person per night at this hotel, we found that a nice suprise.

The bed wasn't the best but it was okay.

Located very close to airport, affordable, and clean. Very basic for a nite stay and parking right outside your door.

I love the individual unit and the AC worked amazing. The shower had great pressure and the bed was very comfortable.

I didn’t like the stairs to get the unit (there were only three stairs but I had an overweight bag that was incredibly difficult to lift). It would be nice if they added a small ramp to get to the units.

I liked the efficient use of this small space. The staff is very good and helpful. There is a freezer near the office that offers you light meals to take and microwave in your room.

If you are a light sleeper this location is not for you as you hear the planes taking off all day till 11:00 pm. Also, this location is not near any convenience stores or places to eat if you are on foot!

Absolutely loved the space and accurate to pictures. Staff at checkin in were super helpful and explained everything really well. Loved that you get some free frozen meals (were really nice!) which was a lovely bonus. The hotel had everything you could need which was handy. Overall was a great stay if you’re looking for a place near the airport.

Would have loved to have a second pillow. Other than that no complaints.

Room was spacious and well made. Really friendly staff even though some didn't speak English the Google translate pulled through :).

    Nothing, all is well :).

    8AmandaPosted on: 10-8-2023

The staff were beyond helpful! They anticipated my needs, organised a taxi without my needing to ask, and explained everything.Close to the airport, the room.had everything I needed (bed and shower, most importantly!). It was similar to a room I stayed in in Tokyo, only less pretentious

I was a bit disorganised with my bags etc when I got there, and the stairs to the room made this difficult- but most of that was probably me not the property :)

The A.C. was really nice. Private bathroom. Coin laundry.

It was in a pretty secluded area. There’s not train station nearby but there are buses

    8HebronPosted on: 8-12-2023

    Close to airport.

I'm an American and only speak English, the staff knew no English but were very friendly so we eventually understood one another. I didn't realize it wasn't an actual hotel type of complex

    Location wasn’t accessible by train

Staff excellent, couldn't be more helpful. Explained everything in detail.Room very clean and modern with the usual items like tv, air conditioning but also an air purifier which you don't see too often along with a microwave and a small fridge/freezer.I was there on an aviation photo trip so the location was excellent, it is walkable from Shibayamachiyoda Station at a touch under 5k but I understand most won't attempt it, I had a heavy backpack but also rented a bike so perhaps it was easier for me. That aside it's still fairly easy to get to via public transport you just have to make the effort.Convenience stores are close by along with a full blown supermarket within easy reach - particularly if you have a rented MTB or road bike.Washing cloths, cutlery and ear plugs are freely available.Overall a very nice experience, cleanliness and staff made it what it is.

You only get a frozen meal once a day which you cook in your microwave, there is a free vend coffee machine but nothing for breakfast, a small selection of pastries or even small packs of cereals would have been nice - even if you had to supply your own milk.Noise - lots of reviews mention aircraft noise and shaking from the lorries from the nearby logistics companies. We live on a busy main road, earplugs are a daily routine for me at night so I'm used to it but I understand why some people will have problems. The aircraft noise comes with the territory, you are situated smack next to a runway on a very busy international airport so what do you expect? That said NRT has a curfew and closes at 2200 until 0600, so the only disturbance though the night should be from the lorries. Not much in the way of clothes storage like a wardrobe, there were a few coathangars on a wall but there could have been something a little bit more even though I understand space is at a premium in a container.

Just what we needed before an early flight from the airport. Simple compact room with massager chair & bath so we could relax. Breakfast meal of pasta provided which we ate for tea. Laundry was really handy meaning we didn't need to wash anything when we got home.
